
More than 75 attendees were at the Community Wellness Dinner hosted by the Manchester School District , in partnership with the New Hampshire Department of Education. The event featured special guest Scarlett Lewis, founder of the JESSE LEWIS CHOOSE LOVE MOVEMENT™ who led activities to geared at helping families teach children how to choose live in any circumstance, and included free books donated by Scholastic.

The event also included a video showcasing the dynamic impact the New Hampshire Scholastic Center for Authentic Family Voice training has had on the culture of Northwest Elementary School.
The kids especially loved having a visit from Clifford The Big Red Dog and the donated books from Scholastic that they were able to take home to keep.
“The love and energy in the room made this fun filled event a huge success in continuing our family engagement and community collaboration efforts. As a district, we are pleased that the DEO and Governor’s Office have adopted the Choose Love curriculum to support social and emotional skill building for our students.” said Mary Steady, Manchester School District Director of Student Services.
Dinner was generously provided by Texas Roadhouse, Fratello’s Italian Restaurant and Coca-Cola.
